Sushi or Hot Pot?

 

Cannot decide who will be the one I should go with. For sure I have already confirmed with P'Forth that I'm going with him. With P'Pha is different, because he only told me about Sushi with the condition that "IF" he can get the top score of the quiz. I didn't agree to go with him. And he might not get the "top" score. BUT it's gonna be our "first date", but again it's P'Pha... (Gosh... So confused... See? I cannot make the decision.)

 

 

    

 

 

Why me? Is it because he just want a friend to go with or is it because he loves me?!?! Is it even possible!?!?! Even thought I've received so many glasses of Pink Milk from him, but it's not enough to make a crazy conclusion like that. Beside, he never talk nicely to me or be kind to me more than anyone else. (Because he's nice to everyone.)

 

This is what's in my head all day. Finally I've made a decision. I will not go with P'Pha and it's gonna be easier if he cannot make the top score for this quiz. (Which is hardly possible. He's a fucking genius. He's a superman. He can do anything.)

 

But how should I reject him tonight?

 

"Hrrrr....r....r...r " I sigh loud enough to get Ming's attention. "What's the matter now? Cannot deal with the Double Date yet?" "Not funny"

"Come on. Relax... It's easier if you follow your heart." "I cannot. Already confirmed with P'Forth."

"What's the matter with this senior anyway? Is he falling for you?"

"He's a good guy. If I didn't have a chat with him, I wouldn't be here now practicing the competition dancing."

"..."

"He has a special character. Raw looks but deep personality. Kind of Cool." "Fuck Yo!"

"What?"

"Don't be such a player."

"Ai Ming" I try to smack his head from calling me a Player.

"You are! Look at you having two guys coming in the same time." "I'm not a player. Asshole"

 

"What are you guys doing?" It's P'Forth. Ming wai him politely.

"P'Forth" I say hello. He looks so different now with a plain black t-shirt and jeans. Plain, simple, but so fucking hot. (Easily confirm by girls and some guys around here. They are looking at P'Forth since he came into the studio. He really is hot.) Gosh! He's such an idol for me. Should I get a hair style like him and also a dragon tattoo too after the competition?

 

P'Forth "Is it because of you two so they cannot finish the practicing?" Ming "Nooo!!! The dancing is not our thing. Difficult."

They both are from the same school and having the easy going personality that I feel comfortable to be around with. It would be super nice if "he" also has this easy going life style, so I can easily talk to... (Am I thinking about P'Pha again? No No No Stop it.)

 

P'Forth "How is this be difficult? I did it last year. Fucking easy"

 

 

 

    

 

 

Ming "P'Forth... Are you taking Ai Yo to a dinner?" He's teasing and observing P'Forth reactions in the same time. "Can I go too?"

"Yeah! Why not? But only you two. I don't wanna go with someone else I don't feel comfortable with."

Ming looks at me with a very surprising face. P'Forth is way too calm and no reaction what so ever about him joining the dinner. Is it because there is nothing between P'Forth and me? Is it just only a dinner between two friends?

"Ah..." Ming cannot decide what to do next. "Join us. The more the merrier"

"I'm going with you guys then." Ming hugs me from the back and decide to join. "Now focus on the practicing. I'll hang out around here until you guys are done." "Sorry to make you wait" I apologize.

"Then you two buy me a dinner."

 

After P'Forth walked away, Ming jumps right in and asks me "I don't think he likes you. Like like like you."

"Yeah. I don't think he's into me or something. Who am I to have so many people falling for?"

"We'll see." Ming looks at P'Forth sitting back relaxing and chatting with other senior moons. "What's next?"

"What?" I'm getting up to practise for another round. "Another moon."

 

I look following to the way Ming pointing. It's Med Student Phana in a very clean and neat uniform with the necktie and a small L&V bag. There is a paper in his hand walking toward me. He's greeting people along the way as well. Quite popular.

 

He sticks that paper on my forehead. I'm not a Chinese zombie. I don't need a yellow charming paper on my forehead.

"What is it?"

"Take a look yourself" He stop right in front of me. Speaks while taking his necktie off and unbutton some buttons on his shirt showing his sexy neck and some hot body skin... (Why do you have to do this in front of me and specially this close to me?)

"Why are you looking at my neck? Look at the paper." He orders.

(Fuck! How can he see me lookin at his... neck...) It's the score report from the quiz today on "Endocrine gland" subject.

Medical Student Phana Kongthanin 29.5 "Out of 50?"

"Fuck you" He's trying to smack my head. "I would get 49 out of 50"

"Out of 30?!?!?!"

He nods

Holy Moly!!! Is he a god or what?!?!?! How can you get 29.5 out of 30?!?!?! Too genius!?!?! Is there anyone getting 30? I hardly see anyone get the 27.

"Sushi" He concludes

 

Now I'm in a real trouble. I want to tell P'Pha that I cannot go with him, but I cannot reject him. It's not what my heart wants. What can I do next!?!?!?!

 

"Pha..." It's P'Pring. "There you are. I was looking for you. Let's get some Sushi. Beam and Kit told me that you have been complaining about getting it for awhile, but nobody goes with you. I'm free today. Let's go get it together."

P'Pring is quite popular here as well. She knows so many people here.

 

"Um. Pring. Do you want to have Sushi too?" "Yeah."

P'Pha makes a decision and talks to me "Then you keep practicing. I'll go with Pring." I'm drown inside. My heart is drown deep into the bottom of the ocean. "Ok" I answer.

I'm still just an ugly dog. The challenge is nothing. He's a genius. There is no such a "challenge" for him, what so ever. He's gonna win everything anyway. Sushi is also nothing serious. He can go with anyone. I'm just a dog he met in the morning and want to take to the Sushi place with. I shouldn't spend hours thinking about him. Damn you, WaYo!!!

 

I've never been in his eyes. Never will be.

 

Looking at the couple walking aways and talking to people like they are celeberties hurts me so bad.

"Quite close, ain't they?" Ming whispers "Is she the one that P'Pha is dating?" That's so sad for me.

"The famous moon and star from Med School last year." Nate also whispers (the star from Science. She's my partner for this competition)

 

The Moon and The Star? Good! They are meant for each other.

 

 

 

    

 

 

 

"Ming. What's the matter with your friend?" "His heart is just broken krub"

"Why's that?"

"The male dog at home cheats him with other female dog." Ming hurts my feeling again with this mean sentence.

"Asshole"

"Keep eating, Ai Yo. Life sucks... Keeps eating."

P'Forth pick some of the veg from the pot for me. I bow a little to show my appreciation. It's lively around me, but it cannot cheer me up at all.

 

Yes. You did this to yourself. You have to get over it by yourself too. But how long have this been already? This secret admiring thing.

 

"P'Forth. Do you know P'Pha's girlfriend?" Ming shoots the question out of the blue. "Pha's girlfriend?" P'Forth says while grilling the pork on the pot.

"Yes. The pretty lady today at the studio." "Oh... You mean Pring?"

"Yes"

"Why? Do you like here?" Such a smooth conversation between a sophomore and the freshman from School of Engineering.

Ming shakes his head "How can I beat the guy that she's with today? Can't you see?" "She cannot also beat the others too."

"What do you mean krub?"

"Pring likes Pha... Just like everyone else, but Pha has never been involved with anyone since he's here in the university."

From that information, I feel a little bit better. "Or do you like Ai Pha, Ming?"

"Fuck NO!!!!"

 

"Boys Loves kind of thing"

"NO NO NO!!! I rather go with Ai Yo than him." Ming teases me by giving me a hug. I push him away "Have you asked me first?"

"Ha Ha Ha Look at Yo's face" P'Forth smiles make me smile too. "See? You are so cute when you smile. Try to smile more. It's better than isolating and screaming to the pool alone."

 

Damn!!! No word from me.

 

"Do you think Yo is cute?" Ming asks P'Forth.

"What?!?! He's right here in front of me. How can I answer that?" "Just pretend that he's not here"

"Well... He's not bad..." P'Forth sips a beer and continues. "... But not enough for the Campus Moon this year."

"Hey... Ai P'Forth" I tease him back.

"Seriously... You are too cute than handsome. Think about it. You standing right next to Pha. It's totally different style. Ming, The moon from engineering school, or this year Campus Moon. The winner this year."

(Yeah right... You two are from the same school. I get it.)

 

"What if I'm the Campus moon?" "No way... Stop the day dreaming." "Let's say if I win?"

"Ah... the bet is on."

"Getting ready to lost some money, P'Forth"

"You look lively now. What the fuck? Yo" P'Forth looks at my sparkling eyes.

 

"Maybe that old dog is coming back home to its old wife." Ming smiles "Put that into your novel, would you?" I bite him back.

"Just saying" "Smart ass"

Ming whispers at my ear "You cannot stop smiling since you know that P'Pha is still single." Shut up!!! Ai Ming.

 

 

    

 

 

 

That night, I cannot sleep. I cannot get rid of the picture of P'Pring and P'Pha as a couple, even I know that they are not dating. Because they are such a cute couple and perfect for each others. And P'Pha is not gay, so he deserves a pretty girl. A perfect girl.

 

I'm not a girl. Just a male tall and ugly dog. My hope was gone since that graduation day. Since the day I heard P'Pha telling P'Beam that he likes girl.

 

What am I doing? Whining about a boy like a girl on the bed.

 

I can hear some noise outside. Must be P'Pring. She must be back already. I decide to jump up from the bed and open the door to see P'Pring. "Where is P'Pha krub?" (She must think I'm a good friend with P'Pha from keeping asking for him)

"Oh... The freshman moon from Science. Pha left to the tutor group a while ago." "More quiz?"

"Pha is the tutor for friends that havn't passed the quiz. Another second round is coming on the day after tomorrow.

 

Gosh!!! He's a genius and kind. What's a perfect man.

 

"When will he be back krub?"

"Oh any emergence? Gosh!!! She's smart and sensitive. She can detect something. "Nothing's important krub. Just need some comments about the moon competition krub." "Can be a little late. But he's be back soon"

"I don't know which room he is" "It's the third floor. Room number 3"

Lucky me! I know a little bit more his personal information. "Thank you krub P'Pring"

"You're very welcome kha"

Damn!!! She's so smart and kind. Why don't you like her already? Ai Pha.

 

I come back into my room. Lying down on my bed and keep checking for the white Audy to come back from my window.

10PM... 10:30PM... 11PM... 11:15PM... And it's raining.

 

I cannot sleep and wait inside my room. I have to come down to the lobby and wait there. What if he's staying with friends tonight?

 

Until almost midnight, the white Audy has finally arrived to the parking lot. I have to quickly hide around the corner. I brought an umbrella and decide to make it like a coincident seeing him back home.

 

 

    

 

 

"Hey You..." I pretend like I accidentally meet him and hold my umbrella for him. "You can get some cold under the rain."

P'Pha is kind of surprise seeing me. He tries to grab the books, put into his bag, and asks me "Are you waiting for me?"

"No way. Coincident. I want to go to... the Pharmacy" That's all I can come up with frome the sign outside the street.

"Are you sick or something?"

"Nah... Just some vitamin... for my skin" "What are you doing up this late?"

(Waiting for you asshole) "Thinking about how to take care of my skin" (Not making sense at all)

"I thought your eyes were hurt or something" "Why is that?"

"Because your eyes is red now."

"Oh... Maybe because of the contact lens."

Since last year, I swear not to wear the glasses anymore (if not necessary). Because I look totally different without glasses.

"Wearing them for too long, I guess" "I never know that you need glasses." "Yes."

"It serves you right." He shuts the car back door and walks a little too fast for me.

 

"This is not working" He gives me his bag and he takes my umbrella. Now this is a lot better. The taller guy takes the umbrella.

My heart is beating so loud. We are super close under this umbrella. "You know what? You can be nice to people too, shorty"

 

"Where are you going?" "Pharmacy"

 

"Oh.." (Fuck... I forgot that I lied) "What?"

"Congrats. You are good. Getting the top score..." He walks quietly. No answer. "... You know what? You can be such a jerk sometimes"

He looks right at me. "You are a jerk too, Shorty"

 

Yeph... We both are jerks... But I'm being a jerk in front of you and to you only. I'm your jerk. Remember that.
