Why R U ? (SaifahxZon) (Eng) 1

The atmosphere in the cafeteria of the Faculty of Engineering is so chaotic that I get a headache.

I am not used to chaos and shouting to talk to people sitting on the opposite side of the table but I could not avoid coming, since the cafeteria of the faculty of communication has already been closed for a week.

Many of my faculty friends and I decided to come here instead of going to the main cafeteria, probably because it's close by and the food is good. Despite this, I didn't want to come and eat here.

"Seriously?!" Ai Juni or Ai Jiat approach me in a surprised tone of voice as soon as I tell them what happened at home.

"Uh-uh."

"Strange. Usually your parents support you, don't they? Why are they so opposed this time?"

I don't understand either, just like Ai Tee. It usually doesn't matter what I do: if I come back late or go somewhere, they never tell me anything. But I don't know why, suddenly, this matter has gotten so big.

"How did you get such low marks?" What Ai Junior says is true. If I were in my parents' place, I wouldn't even bear to see my son's grades fall so low. "If I were in their shoes, I wouldn't just ask you to stop writing."

"What would you do?" TanTai asks.

"I would pester them until the earth submerges them! Ungrateful son! I send him to study and he returns to me with similar results ?!"

"Right! If it were me, I would have been waiting crying since I saw the results online," says Ai Tee, giving strength to the idea of Junior and laughing as if it were something so funny, unlike another friend of mine who he gives me worried looks.

In my group of friends there are five people from the faculty. Besides me there are Junior, Natee, TanTai and Zen. The first three have roughly the same character, while Ai Zen is the good and reliable one.

"Excuse me, but can I ask you what score you got last semester? How far is it from P'Zon's score?"

"No matter what the score is, it's not far from yours, Ai Tai."

"But still more than yours, Ai Jia."

I honestly don't care what these three are fighting because right now the main problem is too much for me.

I also didn't find a way to convince my parents to stop pressuring me for this story. The more I think about it, the more I get a headache.

"Did you just get a little better than me and still have the courage to speak, Ai Tai?"

"I did better than you anyway, didn't I?"

"That's enough." The boy between Ai Tai and Ai Junior interrupts them. "Can you be serious?"

The low tone of voice does not coincide with the sharp looks that Ai Zen gives to friends.

Damn, when it's time to be cruel, it's really scary.

"Er ... I'm serious now. Why don't you talk to P'Tor about it?" Junior asks nodding. I reply quickly before Ai Zen can intervene again: "It's my problem. I'm sick and tired of thinking about what I should do."

I don't know if I should stop writing, as my parents asked me, or continure. I have no idea.

Yes, my heart tells me to continue.

However, if I decide to continue and my parents find out, they will cut my pocket money and then how will I survive?

Life should always come first.

"If so, let's manipulate the number of readers' views. Let's get them to one hundred thousand!"

"Hey, it makes sense!"

"I also agree with Ai Tai. If the number reaches one hundred thousand, it would be proof that you too can do it. And it would also make you win the challenge with your sister."

Natee and TanTai's proposal sounds good, but ...

"If I only do those of my parents, they won't be very proud."

"..."

"Anyway ... I think I'll have to accept it and go back to studying hard and getting good grades."

"Leaving aside the marks ... Those are up to you, you have to try to improve them. The novel is something you like, isn't it?"

Sure, I like it, but what can I do? I have almost no choice.

I have to choose between following my dream - but giving up eating, or being a good son who easily earns a loaf ... And I think the second choice is the best.

"Er ... I like it, but try to think about it. What I like and what my parents like doesn't match. What son am I to turn my back on mine?"

"If so, then try writing something similar to what your sister wrote."

"What did he write? And if it's different from mine, what is science fiction?"

"It's that YY, what the hell is it? I see that those who follow it read a lot. Maybe it would help you increase your views and broaden your vision, which could even make your little thing hard."

In addition to what he says, his expression also deserves to be kicked. Seeing him like this makes me want to take a shoe and put it in his throat.

"Here. This style is like that, isn't it? Maybe it's the kind you've been looking for for a long time, Zon."

"True. I think it's better to start with your couple, ZonZen. Wait, I can help with the hashtag, the best friend loves the friend. This can also happen!"

"What happened, Ai Tee? Get together or ..." While Junior and Natee trying to make me and Zen run around until we are facing each other -so close, I suddenly turn to the others.

"It happens that you can get my foot first. Do you feel like it?"

"Ahahahahah!" I have not finished speaking yet and they interrupt me with a loud laugh.

"Honestly, if you ignore what these two have told you and keep writing, that's fine, Zon."

The person who is most concerned is TanTai, although he continues to push me to write a YY novel.

"I do not want to." I will never write such a thing, nor will I read it.

"You never read it, that's why you should try it first."

"I never read it and I never even thought of doing it. Honestly, I don't know why your novel should be much better than mine."

I don't understand why my science fiction novel has fewer readers than its novel YY.

"Hell, he's late!" Suddenly, Junior interrupts our conversation.

"Who is late? There are no extra lessons today, are there?"

"No, I mean those people." After I asked, Junior nodded at something behind me.

Three boys are entering the building. The first is an old friend, we were quite close during high school. It's called Tutor.

Before college we were in the same high school and always went home together.

However, as soon as we entered the university, Ai Tor moved to live in the university dormitory.

At the beginning it was because of some family financial problems. Her parents invested their money in something that made them go bankrupt.

Now Tor has to work as a tutor - something he's good at, and work at the cake shop.

A drastic change of life, from the stars to the stables.

I really can't imagine my life if I were in his shoes. Can I bear it the same way?

I'd like to die since I first started looking for work, so I didn't have to repeat someone else. Who would come to study from a fool like me?

The second person is called Day. We are not very friends but I know him because he is a friend of Ai Tor.

The last guy is one of the football team who knows Ai Junior. It is not strange that they are coming towards us, but I do not want them to come near because the person I do not like is really that last person, Saifah .

Ohi. I sigh and turn around as before, but at the mere thought of having to see his face up close, I feel I want to run away and get it over with. In the end I opt to take my cell phone instead of worrying about him.

"Hey. There are soccer trainings tonight. The bloody Je follows me often to tell those of the second year who miss training." The Je Junior is talking about is P'Japan, a fourth year senior at the football club.

"Er, I know." Ai Saifah's low voice responds relaxed. I don't look at what he is doing but I have the impression that he is looking at me irritably. I know every time we meet, we get on each other's nerves.

"You know, then you should go. Don't just say it, because if you just say it again, I'll end up in trouble," Junior complains relentlessly.

"Ok ok. Anyway, why did you come here to eat?"

"Our cafeteria is closed for renovation. We wandered around and came to eat here." It is TanTai who replies.

"Understood ... It's good because apart from you, it's full of Communication girls."

"Are you happy, huh? Ai Day?"

"Sure. I'm so happy!"

I don't listen to the exchange of jokes between Ai Day and Ai Junior. In my hands I still look at Facebook bored. Honestly aside from being fed up with having Saifah, I have the thought of my novel in mind. Even if I had to stop writing to save money, in the end I refuse to quit because writing is the thing I love.

"So what's up?" Someone puts a hand on my shoulder. When I look up, I find out it's Ai Tor. "You have the face of a death row inmate."

"Er, almost. Just a little push and he's in the funeral urn," Junior replies.

"Why?"

"His ..." Before Junior opens his mouth to say anything Ai Zen, sitting next to me, hurries to glance at him not unlike TanTai, who hurries to pinch Junior, who suddenly changes the subject . "Er ... His parents are furious. The ratings have dropped from 3 to just above 2. He's also going to get a warning."

"Oh really?" Tutor makes a confused face. "I remember in high school you were good at studying."

"I say you remember badly, Tor."

"Hey! He was really good, I remember. Maybe you had a few bad marks, but not enough to drop to 2."

Ai Tor looks at me worried. He knows I write novels but I don't know if he could guess that I'm annoyed that my parents won't let me write. I think it is not difficult for an intelligent one like him to guess it.

"Uh." He doesn't have to raise his head to look at me, I know the chuckle came from Saifah. "Some people may not be as intelligent as we believe, Ai Tor."

In addition to insulting me, he gives me that annoying look. I would really like to throw a plate against his face!

"Are you talking about me?"

"What do you think?"

"I think you're talking about me." I can't stand it and it is really irritating me with its expression and with what it says. In the end, it is I who leaps to the boy in front of me, ready to punch him in the face, but his friends surround him and I cannot do it.

"Stop it, Zon. It's a trifle," Ai Tor tells me as he drags his engineer friend behind him. At the same time, Ai Junior is holding me back so as not to go looking for more trouble with Saifah.

"I didn't do anything, Tor! I tried to ignore your friend but he was really an asshole to me!" I turn to Saifah as I pronounce the last insult and see her face. Aside from not having understood yet, he is still looking at me: "Hey, asshole! Can you tell me what's the problem ?! Why do you always come and break my balls ?!"

I insult him and stretch my foot as if I wanted to kick him to push him away. If it weren't for my friends who intruded, we could now kill each other.

"" Tutor, can you take Saifah away from here? "Asks one of my friends. At that Tutor nods and takes Saifah to sit somewhere else, but it's just the table on the opposite side to mine. But it doesn't matter, I'm tired to warm up for someone like that.

Finally I sigh and go back to sit down. My friends are apologizing to the people in the cafeteria. I don't care how people are looking at us. I don't even care if I have to punch Saifah. I really don't like that, I don't like it at all.

"Here, take some water." TanTai hands me some water, I guess he's trying to help me calm down.

"I don't want it."

"As you please. But can I ask you something? What is your problem? How is it that you hate yourself so much that you almost punch every time you see yourself? In the past it was better, wasn't it?"

"Fuck Tai! Don't you remember? Ai Saifah screwed the girl with whom Ai Zon was dating. Plus there was almost that thing in the bathroom. If Zon hadn't seen them, they would have had more fun." Junior answers the question.

"Er-er."

"But the point is that you and Fai don't go out together, and neither does Ai Saifah. Isn't it time to drop this story? I don't know why you always have to fight."

You forgot? In the past I avoided answering. This is another time I don't speak.

"Is there anything else we don't know?" They start asking questions. They look at me as if they want to come up with an answer.

"No. He hates me so much when I hate him, nothing else." I finish talking and I put my chin on my hands I feel like someone is watching me and I look up. It's Saifah.

His gaze is as before, it has not changed a comma since he addressed those words to me. As soon as he sees that I'm looking at him, he raises the corners of his mouth in a smile and raises an eyebrow as if he wanted to challenge me.

"What. Fuck. You're. Looking.?"

I move my lips without letting out a sound. Saifah smiles and shrugs and irritates me the way she looks at me. It is good that Tutor notices this, moving on to hide Saifah.

I don't know what they are talking about, the distance between our tables is too much to hear. But it doesn't matter, I don't want to meddle with that asshole because even my problem hurts me enough.
