 EP. 3 Hunt

I stood looking at my neck in the mirror. A red tooth mark was visible with a hint of blood still flowing from it. The area around the bite turned bruised and a slightly faint yellowish purple color. I tilted my neck slowly towards the bodyguard, Big. He used cotton to clean Lukaku while complaining.

"Is Mr. Kinn going to make someone like this as a bodyguard?" Big rubbed antiseptic on my wound until I felt cold.

"Why?" I asked. Big looked at Lukaku and sighed.

"He hurt you like this. You will see tomorrow, I will chase and avenge him."

"Just do it, if you want to lead yourself to death." I'm telling the truth.

"Sir, I feel humiliated by someone who doesn't know you. He left you twice, and this time he jumped up and bit your neck. How can we tame a cobra?" My bodyguard muttered until I glanced at him to stop his annoying bullshit. He seemed to be aware of my attitude and immediately stopped talking and focused on my wound.

I didn't even want him to be a bodyguard. Big said that he has met many people who have these characteristics. They are people who will only take advantage and it is easy to change course to become traitors. A person like this will only take what he wants and after getting it will go away and leave. Don't talk about loyalty to them, because that's not possible.

Then, what am I doing?

When I checked the CCTV footage at the club for the bastards who kept and tortured me for three days and three nights, I found something more interesting than that. Someone who saved me two days straight, not for voluntary purposes, but money.

“Second family again? You disappeared for three days. Surely you were kidnapped again, right?” Tan held my face and checked it to the left and right.

“Right! But the person I’m looking for is not from the second family.”

“So?”

“I’m looking for the guy who made my neck like this …” I said in a frustrated voice, opening the bandages around my neck and letting my three friends see the scars.

“Shit !!” Time, Tan and Mew screamed at the same time. This morning I still feel a fair amount of pain. Every time that pain came, the hatred for that bastard grew multiplied. And whether the bite he gave has rabies or not, I don’t know. I don’t want to make him my bodyguard, but I just want to defeat and subdue him.

“Huh, you asked me to tell Mew yourself.” Tan glanced at Time.

“P’Tan, don’t look at it like that. I know Time’s brother because Paku works at Time’s brother’s house.” His explanation made Tan smile a little.

“Understood, right?”

“You didn’t tell me before.” Tan gritted his teeth.

“Well, what are the notorious gangs doing hanging around here?”

“Er .. Minmin, do you know the name Jom?” Ask Time. As if he didn’t think long, Min immediately answered.

“Is he a second year?” Ask Min.

“I don’t know. Second year, right?” Time turned to me.

“Take me to find him …” Min raised an eyebrow. “I have business with him.” Time said again.

“Just tell Pa wants to see him !!!” Time said with a smile. Min and Ohm were a little stunned, but nodded. While waiting, I called to check on my men who came to his house. They said that people around the area did not know the man named Jom. Plus, the house that I showed him said he had moved its occupants. I’m a little confused. Why did he suddenly move out? What are people like him afraid of?

Drrrrr ….. drrrrr …… My phone vibrates, showing the Nail number on the screen. I have to rush to accept it immediately.

“Yes, alright … I’ll hurry.” Pa called and told me to hurry back. We have important guests this afternoon and he wants me to meet them. So I gave up finding it today. Leave this building and wait for the guards to pick me up to go home.

“How do you guys take care of my son and let this happen over and over again?”

I understand why Pa is so angry. He must be stressed this month like his partner who keeps flying the war flag. When I was kidnapped, I wasn’t the only one who experienced it, because my older brother Khun and my brother Kim went through the same thing. Pa’s brothers and relatives, we call the second clan, while we are the main family. After three days and three nights I was kidnapped and tortured, I haven’t seen my siblings. That bastard looks like he has a fever and today he came downstairs with a degrading sheet on his forehead.

“Can you speak politely?” I turned around to scold him.

“You have brought lots of gifts.” He caught my face and turned it from side to side to see the bruises around my face. It sucks.

“Go on, don’t take care of me,” I said in frustration and brushed his hand away. So he walked over with a cute smile and sat on the sofa, turning on the TV in the middle of the room with a flat expression, without making fun of the people around him. Until Pa shook his head, but he did not curse him, because we do have a very sad life. “Whatever. But you already have Pete.” Said Pa who looked at Pete who lowered his head.

“He’s stupid. I like smart people.” I saw Pete roll his eyes and make a scowl at his boss. Even though my brother has never experienced another kidnapping like before.

“Do it. If you have another bad thing, Pa will find you a new one.” Pa spoiled him again. Who says the youngest child will always be spoiled? I, who is the middle child and my youngest brother, is like being wasted every day. Nothing is more pampered than the eldest son in my family who always looks lost every day.

“What about my bodyguard?” Another bass sound came from the second figure who resembled me as if looking into a mirror of Doraemon. I closed my eyes while leaning on the back of the sofa, staring at my little brother who just walked in with his naughty face.

“Who are you?”

“What … it seems like you are getting crazy every day!” He said while holding his temple.

“You are crazy … has your memory returned?”

“Since I remembered the way home, I guess you’re right.”

My brother rarely comes home, so his return was a miracle. Kim would show his head at home now and then if he was dragged away forcefully. Even after months of not coming home, people would only think that he was outside as usual. So it wouldn’t be strange if no one noticed when he was lost one day.

“What is this? All my kids are home? Looks like there’s going to be a big storm today.”

“I’m just an abandoned dog, so I ran away from home. The irony of my life …” Kim sat beside Pa and spoiled him. Everything he said was very awkward, as someone like him might catch a child somewhere who doesn’t remember the way back.

“Pa … Pa … how can the eldest son of Stifan Phuong speak like that?” Kim pointed at Khun quickly.

“Well, because today everyone gathered … Tomorrow, the three of you check the file account at the company for Pa.”

“Geez, just ask your subordinates,” I said.

“You three are future company owners. Don’t you want to help me with my work? Especially you Kim! Learn to sleep in your own house.” After speaking, Dad walked out leaving me with these bastards. Kim opened the battle to argue with each other.

“It’s a little difficult because he’s not an ordinary person!” I told Pa before returning to my room to dial the number immediately.

After waiting for a while, the sound of the call ended.

“Hello …” I said in a soft voice

“Who is this?”

When we arrived at the mall, we walked around looking to select a restaurant when my eyes collided with the tall figures of two brothers not far from him. They were so eye-catching that Khun walked towards the target so fast that Kim and I had to half-run after him.

“Hey, second clan.” Said the rascal, smiling looking at the two male relatives who are our age. The two brothers who were standing in front of the restaurant reading the menu, looked up before stopping and grinning in response to us …

“Looks like the wrong person uncle. This is Anakinn.” Kim said with a loud laugh. Thinking that I am the oldest brother, mainly because our faces look alike. “There were even a few times when I came to the company, people greeted you with the name Mr. Khun !!

“What do you want?” The bastard said without looking at the other person at all.

“Can you guys help me? My name is Thi. About ten years ago, I used to do business with your father. And now, I want to borrow money from him …”

“Because you lost gambling, right?” It was as if they had experienced incidents like this many times.

I took a little walk. When we were going back, we got out and stood in front of the Mall waiting for the car from the parking area to pick us up. I narrowed my eyes with a small smile, when I saw the figure I had been looking for, dragging the middle-aged man behind his motorcycle and leaving.
